United Way of Weld County

United Way fights for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in every community. Since its founding in 1940 in Greeley, Colorado, United Way of Weld County (UWWC) has focused on discovering, funding, and developing programs that improve lives and catalyze social change. Today's United Way brings individuals, businesses, foundations, and public and private organizations together to achieve lasting positive change within our community. UWWC is one of almost 1,800 independent United Ways worldwide that trace their roots to the first United Way, which was founded in 1887 in Denver, Colorado, as a collaborative organization addressing the city's social welfare needs. The mission of UWWC is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community.
