United Way of Puerto Rico

Established in 1966 as the United Fund de Puerto Rico, the Fondos Unidos de Puerto Rico advances the common good by creating opportunities for a better life for all. Our focus is on education, income and health, the building blocks for a good quality of life. We are dedicated to strengthening the social and health care services in Puerto Rico. We promote teamwork between volunteers, donors, charitable organizations and our staff in order to forward our mission. Currently, we financially support 138 participating institutions and partner organizations that offer direct services to our people. Programs and community impact initiatives include: 2-1-1 of Puerto Rico, our Volunteer Center, and the "Sembrando Futuro para el Desarrollo de Una Nueva Generación" initiative.
