United Way of Merced County with your help, fights for the education, health, and financial stability of all in Merced County. In the early days the organization represented the various charities for which it was raising funds. Through the years, the emphasis changed agency desires to donor desires. Additionally the funding shifted from supporting agencies to supporting selected programs of agencies.
