Richmond Friends of the Homeless

Richmond Friends of the Homeless was formed in 1986 to strengthen and enrich the community life of the underprivileged and homeless in Richmond, Virginia. We provide a nutritious, hearty lunch seven days a week through three program sites around the Richmond community. Richmond Friends of the Homeless, in conjunction with Cross-Over Clinic and other volunteers, provides on site health services free of charge to those in need. The umbrella program for our Children's Services is Camp Camille. It is a unique ongoing experience for the children we see through our lunch programs. Children are registered, then mentored. They receive all necessary school supplies along with a book bag and groceries are provided to their families so there is always plenty of nutritious food at home.
