Project Self-Sufficiency of Loveland-Fort Collins

At Project Self-Sufficiency, we believe that single-parents should have the opportunity to create a vibrant future for themselves and their children. Every day, we partner with moms and dads living in poverty to accomplish their goals of obtaining a degree and a well-paying job, because when families are able to support themselves, our community is stronger. Since 1986, Project Self-Sufficiency has been creating pathways for low-income, single parent families in Larimer County who are struggling to make ends meet and break the cycle poverty. From educational development and career planning to adequate child care access and housing, the program is a comprehensive resource providing everything a single parent needs to become self-sufficient: career planning, education and training, remove barriers, promote family health, encourage self advocacy, and prevent poverty. Current program capacity is 137 families.
