Project Hope Alliance

The mission of Project Hope Alliance (PHA) is to end the cycle of homelessness, one child at a time. Currently, Orange County spends $299 million dollars annually on homeless services. PHA uses a proactive and upstream approach, targeting children and youth to ensure that they have the resources they need to survive today and thrive tomorrow. This is rooted in the statistics that youth without a high school diploma are 346% more likely to experience homelessness in adulthood and youth experiencing homelessness are 16% less likely to graduate than their housed peers. In everything we do, our goal is to honor the dignity and potential of each child. We start with the conviction that all things are possible for children experiencing homelessness. Our interventions break this progression by addressing the root causes of the inequity. We provide children and youth intensive support throughout their education that meets their individual academic and psychosocial needs.
