Power to Decide

Founded in 1996, Power to Decide believes that when people have the power to decide if, when, and under what circumstances to get pregnant and have a child, they have more opportunity to achieve the futures they want. We work to ensure that all young people-no matter who they are, where they live, or what their economic status might be-have the power to decide if, when, and under what circumstances to get pregnant and have a child. We envision a culture in which there is a system of support that makes it possible for every person to achieve reproductive well-being.
