New York City Rescue Mission

New York City Rescue Mission exists to provide help and hope to hungry and homeless men and women of New York City. Meals, shelter, clothing and more are provided seven days a week, 365 days a year. At NYC Rescue Mission, Compassionate Care is viewed as an opportunity to build trusting relationships and invite guests to choose help through long-term services and support. In order to effectively combat the epidemic of homelessness affecting nearly 80,000 people in New York City and to meet the needs of our neighbors across the New York metro area, New York City Rescue Mission and Goodwill Rescue Mission (Newark) joined forces with The Bowery Mission. Leveraging more than 400 years of combined service, three historic organizations became one. Last year, in collaboration with The Bowery Mission and Goodwill Rescue Mission, we provided 429,500 meals, 104,000 nights of shelter, 27,600 articles of clothing and 67,500 emergency showers.
