Junior Achievement of Washington

Since 1953, Junior Achievement (JA) of Washington has been active in local communities- working with schools, community organizations, and businesses to build strong, viable partnerships that serve our youth. As a youth-serving organization, JA's purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy through a unique learning dynamic that is a natural equalizer in the educational setting. JA fulfills this purpose via 23 scalable, experientially based educational programs that focus on the Pillars of Student Success: financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work readiness. JA programs are taught by community and business mentors, individuals committed to the success and healthy development of young people. JA will impact nearly 75,000 K-12 students in Washington and Northern Idaho during the 2019/20 school year.
