International Orthodox Christian Charities

International Orthodox Christian Charities, Inc. (IOCC) was established in 1992 and is the official humanitarian and development agency of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America. Its mission is to provide emergency relief and development programs to those in need worldwide, without discrimination, and to strengthen the capacity of the Orthodox Church to so respond. All assistance is provided solely on the basis of need. Current programs focus on emergency preparedness and response; water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH); sustainable livelihoods; food security and agriculture; and health. All programs are guided by the two goals of program integrity and the highest standards of stewardship to donors.
