Danita's Children

Founded by Danita Estrella-Watts in 1999, Danita's Children/Hope for Haiti Children's Center rescues and cares for orphaned and impoverished children in Ouanaminthe Haiti, meeting their needs spiritually, physically, academically, emotionally. Located in the northeastern area of Haiti, currently Danita's Children is home to more than 100 orphans. A school provides an education to nearly 500 children and 18,000 meals are fed each month through the feeding program. A church provides spiritual hope to the community through a congregation of 500 people. The Danita's Children's Medical Center currently under construction will provide for the medical needs of children in northeastern Haiti and the surrounding region.
