Christian Appalachian Project is a Kentucky-based, interdenominational, Christian organization committed to serving people in need in Appalachia by providing physical, spiritual and emotional support through a wide variety of programs and services. As the 15th largest human services charity in the nation, Christian Appalachian Project has been committed to improving the lives of Appalachian residents since 1964. CAP has grown to touch the lives of more than one million people each year. Today, programs and services range from child development centers and abuse shelters to GED classes and respite services.
