Boy Scouts of America Mountain West Council

The Boy Scouts of America Mountain West Council works to prepare young people to make ethical choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. We help to provide comprehensive youth development through a professional staff employed to coordinate, organize, train and motivate approximately 6,181 volunteers to carry the scouting program to approximately 13,216 youth in 581 packs, troops, teams and posts. The Council provides funding, program materials, training sessions and other support for such goals as character development, leadership training, citizenship training and physical fitness.
