Founded in 1971, Alternatives' mission is to inspire young people to create a just future through practices that heal individuals, restore communities, and transform systems. The agency offers a range of Restorative Justice, youth development, and Behavioral Health services from our locations in Uptown and Washington Park and through partnerships with more than 30 schools and youth service agencies.
